Emily worked in retail for several years, the majority of that time being spent in a management role, teaching and overseeing staff as well as completing many projects solo and as a team. She learned that she loved to teach and she found interest in training dogs after getting her Yorkshire Terrier in 2019. Now Emily is pursuing her passion for dog training by empowering clients to be confident in themselves and giving them the opportunities to do more with their dogs. Originally born in Ohio, Emily has lived in Colorado for over a decade now and is happy to call it home, naming her Yorkie “Rocky” after the mountains. When she’s not training her dogs, she also enjoys hiking with her dogs or cuddling with them at home.  Additionally, in her free time, besides dog-related activities, she likes to practice drawing, calligraphy, playing the ukulele, and do fun little projects with her Cricut machine every now and again.  She strives live a life where she can be more present for her dog and dip her toes into new experiences with him so he can have the opportunity to be a more fulfilled, happy dog.
