We understand that every dog is unique, which is why we offer individualized training plans that are tailored to meet the specific needs of each dog and their owner. Our trainers work closely with you to develop a training plan that works for you and your dog.

About the owner

Meet Emily

Emily worked in retail for several years, the majority of that time being spent in a management role. She learned that she loved to teach and she found interest in training dogs after getting her Yorkshire Terrier in 2019. Now Emily is pursuing her passion for dog training by empowering clients to be confident in themselves and giving them the opportunities to do more with their dogs. Originally born in Ohio, Emily has lived in Colorado for over a decade now and is happy to call it home, naming her Yorkie “Rocky” after the mountains. When she’s not training her dogs, she also enjoys hiking with her dogs or cuddling with them at home.  She strives live a life where she can be more present for her dog and dip her toes into new experiences with him so he can have the opportunity to be a more fulfilled, happy dog. 

Meet Rocky

The terrier that started it all. The whole reason Emily got into to any dog training at all was Rocky. Rocky is her 5-year-old Yorkshire Terrier and best friend. Rocky is spunky and fun, while also being cuddly and sweet. He is the whole package and with consistent training she has unlocked so many talents from him, he's truly one of a kind!

Now that Emily has learned so much about relationship, communication and obedience, she can share that knowledge to others to help them build a better life with their dog. She has professionally trained successful service dogs and pet dogs alike and it is her true passion to work with dogs and change lives.

We use positive - balanced training and cater to the dog in front of us. We will likely use and recommend prong collars, e-collars, treats, leashes, toys and more. We use these tools in a humane way to help communicate with our dogs. Learn more about how we train on the training page.
